About this game
Raise a skinny 48 kg kid into a gym legend in 90 days. Pick workouts, eat enough protein, work shifts to pay rent and gym fees, dodge injuries and handle random gym events. Watch the body grow muscle (or pizza fat), then face the Gym Showdown: your bench + squat + deadlift total goes on the ranked leaderboard. A cozy idle-raising sim, free, no download, works on phone.

How to play
Gym Rat Raising is a cozy raising sim: you look after one very skinny kid for 90 days and turn them into a gym legend. Each day has three time slots. Spend them on lifting (bench, squat, deadlift), cardio, a shift at work to pay the rent and gym fees, or rest. Eat in between: fuel decides how hard you can train and protein turns training into muscle overnight.
Watch the avatar change as muscle grows, or as too many burgers turn into fat. On day 90 the Gym Showdown scores your bench + squat + deadlift total, and that number goes on the ranked leaderboard.
Food, soreness and injuries
Fuel drops every night, so eat. Chicken & rice and protein shakes build muscle; burgers lift your mood but add fat; eating past 100 fuel is stored as fat. Every set adds soreness, and lifting while very sore risks an injury that locks you out for two days, so mix in naps. Skipping training breaks your streak, and five training days in a row gives a bonus to every lift.
Money, gear and random events
Mom wants $30 rent every 7th day and the gym costs $3 a session until you buy a membership. Work shifts pay the bills; the shop sells wrist wraps, a belt, straps, creatine, a foam roller and meal-prep boxes that make you stronger or cheaper to run. Every morning may bring a random event: a giant spotter, a pre-workout offer, viral mirror selfies, questionable gas-station sushi and more. Titles run from Human Twig up to Mr. Olympia Dreamer.
💡 Tips
- Eat chicken & rice or a protein shake before you sleep: muscle only grows with protein in your system.
- Train twice a day, then nap. Three heavy sessions in a row pile up soreness and risk injury.
- Buy the gym membership first, then creatine; both pay for themselves quickly.
- Train the lift you are weakest at: gains are bigger when a lift is far below its limit.
- Do not skip rent day. A mood crash hurts your next few sessions.
- Say yes to free food events, but dodge the expired sushi unless you are desperate.
